For over two weeks now thousands of youngsters have been protesting at the Shahbagh Square around the university area in Dhaka, demanding that war criminals of 1971 be given capital punishment. स्वभावतः अलेक्जेण्डरले जवाफ दिएछन्–तपाईको चाहाना अनुसार काम गर्छु ।
त्यो जवाफले खुसी हुनुको अगाडि इन्दिरा आक्रोशित हुंदै भनिछन्– मेरो चाहाना अनुसार काम गर्ने भए मलाई तपाईको अनुभवको के जरुरत पर्यो ? मैले तपाईबाट निष्पक्ष र रचानात्मक किसिमको सल्लाह सुझाव चाहेकी छु । त्यो दिन सक्नुहुन्छ भने काम गर्नु होस् । होइन भने मलाई तपाईको जरुरत छैन । Continue reading

बिदेशी नागरिकता लिंदा नेपाली नागरिकता स्वतह: रद्ध हुने कानूनी ब्यवस्थाका कारण गैरआवासीय नेपालीहरुलाई परिरहेको समस्याका बारेमा केन्द्रित थियो ।
नागरिकताको बिषयसंग जोडेर सम्पूर्ण गैरआवासीय नेपालीहरु बिरुद्ध सर्वोच्च अदालतमा परेको रिट निवेदनका सम्बन्धमा कानूनबिद्हरुले अहिले सम्म भएको आदेश र एन्आरएन्का तर्फबाट खेल्नु पर्ने अबको भुमिकाको बारेमा जानकारी गराएका थिए । यदि आवश्यक परेमा एनआरएनको तर्फबाट पनि औपचारिक रुपमा सर्वोच्चमा उपस्थिति देखाउने छलफलको निश्कर्ष रह्यो । Continue reading
